Celebrate Helena Modjeska’s birthday at her historic home of Arden!

Helena Modjeska was one of the America’s most famous Shakespearean actresses of the late 19th century. Her home, designed in 1888 by renowned New York architect Stanford White, is one of two National Historic Landmarks in Orange County.

Enjoy an opportunity to sample Polish food as well as watch a traditional Polish folk dance performance. Explore the iconic home and grounds with volunteers on site to share stories and answer questions about the property and Helena Modjeska.

This event is free with free parking, but reservations are required due to limited parking on-site.
