Reservations FAQs

You will be able to reserve campsites at Caspers Wilderness and O’Neill Regional Parks. You may able reserve shelters and group areas at most County Regional Parks.

You can make an in-person reservation at the park office during normal office hours. Reservations may also be made online.

Reservations can be made 12 months in advance, with the booking window opening on the first of each month.

Individual campsites, maximum of 8 people and one vehicle: $20 per night

Individual campsites, maximum of 8 people and one vehicle for people 60 years and older, or disabled individuals: $15 per night

Extra vehicle per site: $5 per night

Whether you made a reservation online or at a park office, you can cancel or change it through the park office or online through the reservation website.

If you paid with a credit card in the past 119 days, you will receive the refund back to your card.

To cancel reservations online that were paid with a credit or debit card, follow these steps:

Step 1:  Login to the reservation website.

Step 2:  Click on “Your Account” which is located at the top of the screen

Step 3: Scroll down to “Purchases” and click on “Your Reservations”

Step 4: From this screen you can cancel or make modifications to your existing reservation

If you paid by credit card more than 120 days ago, or paid by cash or check, you will need to call the park office to process your refund. Refund will be in the form of a check.

To be eligible for a full refund, reservations for individual campsites can be cancelled up to 2 p.m. PST on the arrival date of the reservation. Reservations cancelled after 2 p.m. PST on the arrival date of the reservation are subject to the loss of one night’s fee.

To be eligible for a full refund, reservations for shelters or group areas must be cancelled seven days or more prior to the date of arrival with a $25 cancellation fee. Reservations cancelled less than seven days prior to the date of the reservation are subject to loss of the entire fee.

Full refunds are available for the following reasons:

  • Park closure.
  • Inclement weather, as determined by the park ranger on duty on the reservation date.
  • Serious medical emergency of the reservation holder or the holder’s immediate family.

Full refunds require approval from the park ranger and are processed by park staff. Please contact the park.
