Project Summary:
The South Orange County Regional Coastal Resilience Strategic Plan was developed to facilitate and formalize regional collaboration to promote long-term coastal resiliency in south Orange County. The plan solicits stakeholder input in identifying potential coastal erosion solutions for south county beaches.
The Strategic Plan is designed to meet the deliverables of the Prop 68 Work Plan grant for the State of California, Ocean Protection Council, recommends next steps to work toward an agency collaborative organization, establishes a regional sand replenishment plan and identifies preferred projects for sand retention. The plan is specific to south Orange County between Dana Point to the southern County boundary.
