Below are resources provided to OC Parks Volunteers that will assist volunteers in their role of connecting the community to OC Parks facilities. If you are not yet an OC Parks Volunteer click here to learn how to get involved.
OC Parks Volunteer Manual
The volunteer manual provides an overview of all OC Parks policies and procedures, including safety standards, public interaction skills and additional contact information.
The volunteer opportunity matrix provides a list of volunteer roles available at each OC Parks facility.
OC Parks Volunteer TREKS
Training, Resources, Education, Knowledge and Stories is a continuing education opportunity for OC Parks Volunteers to develop their knowledge on various topics related to the natural and cultural resources found within OC Parks. Every other month, you will be invited to attend a lecture presentation and Q&A session with a local expert in their field.
View past lectures and gain volunteer hours by completing the Volunteer TREKS Report and email it to volunteer@ocparks.com.
