Senderismo en Español en el CAÑON REDONDO

Hike and Learn? What? If you are a student of the Spanish language or someone who would like to practice Spanish while getting some exercise and enjoying the beauty of Round Canyon, this hike is for you. You will learn words specific to the Historic Irvine Ranch. Hiking can improve cognitive functions such as attention, memory and learning. Learning in nature is fun and may deepening your connection to the flora and fauna around you. All levels of Spanish welcome!

¿Senderismo y Aprendizaje? ¿Qué? Si eres estudiante de español o alguien que desea practicar el idioma mientras haces ejercicio y disfrutas de la belleza del Cañon Redondo (Round Canyon), esta caminata es para ti. Aprenderás vocabulario específico de los Espacios Abiertos del historico Rancho Irvine. Caminar puede mejorar funciones cognitivas como la atención, la memoria y el aprendizaje. Aprender en la naturaleza es divertido y puede profundizar tu conexión con la flora y la fauna que te rodean. ¡Todos los niveles de español son bienvenidos!

Please note that you will be asked to adhere to the following measures in order to participate:

• Be registered in advance, no walk-up registration is permitted.
• Arrive with all necessary equipment to keep you safe on the trail, including water, proper attire, and closed-toe footwear, first aid, health needs etc.
• Restrooms will be available, but facilities will not be sanitized for each individual.
• All participants are required to sign a liability waiver upon arrival at the staging area and before beginning the activity. The waiver can be previewed here: IRC Liability Waiver
• You may be prevented from participating if you do not adhere to the above protocols.

Additionally, in an effort to respect and protect all employees, volunteers, and participants, please do not sign up or attend if you are not feeling well, exhibiting any symptoms of illness or have been in recent contact with someone who was ill.
