As the day settles into night at Aliso and Wood Canyons Wilderness Park, bats awaken and stir. 

Come hear fascinating tales of these flying mammals. The program will begin at the picnic tables hearing stories about our little heroes’ nighttime adventures. We will then take a short half-mile walk to see bats begin their evening of hunting for insects. 

Wearing layers and sturdy footwear are recommended. Camping chairs and blankets are welcome for seating during a short introductory presentation in the staging area before the walk. 

The program is for ages 6 or older. Minors under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian.

The program is free and parking is $3 per vehicle.
