Explore Gypsum Canyon Wilderness and hike some of OC Parks’ newest trails!

Learn about native plants and animals found in the area and take in remarkable views of Gypsum Canyon. This moderately-paced hike on unpaved dirt trails is approximately 4 miles round trip with 600 feet of elevation gain. We’ll cover many topics including birding, history, geology and native plants while taking breaks to enjoy the views.

Participants should come prepared with water, snacks, sun protection and sturdy walking shoes. Rain or adverse weather conditions will cancel the program. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
