Celebrate Helena Modjeska's birthday at her historic home of Arden!

Helena Modjeska was one of America's most famous Shakespearean actresses of the late 19th century. Her home, designed in 1888 by renowned New York architect Stanford White, is one of two National Historic Landmarks in Orange County.  

Enjoy performances by Krakusy, a Polish folk dance group, and live classical music from Chopin Academy students on the historic grounds. Volunteer docents will share stories and answer questions about the property and Modjeska during tours of her iconic home. 

This event is free with free parking, but reservations are required due to limited parking on-site. Click here to register for the 1 to 3:30 p.m. time slot.
