Celebrate Dia de los Muertos with OC Parks at Arts at the Oaks! Learn a brief history of the holiday and about the tradition of making and decorating sugar skulls, all while creating your own. Traditionally made from sugar paste and confectionary, we will be painting sugar-free ceramic versions to take home and enjoy for years to come!

Arts at the Oaks is a monthly program exploring the cultural and natural history of Orange County and beyond through hands-on creative expression.  Each month features a new artistic medium and topic to discover. No previous art experience is necessary and all are welcome to join and try something new!

The program is free and parking is $3 per vehicle. Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. The program will utilize acrylic paint, so wearing clothes you don't mind getting paint on is recommended. The program will be held below the Santiago Oaks Nature Center.

Due to limited space, advance registration is required for this program.  Learn more and register here.
