Park Amenities

  • Archery Range: Only large groups are required to make a reservation, and may require a permit. Contact the park office Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

    The Archery Range is closed for maintenance every Thursday from 7 -11 a.m.

  • Barbeques
  • Baseball/Softball Fields: Reservations required and may require a permit. Contact the park office Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Bicycling/Bike Trails
  • Bike Rental: Come explore the 640 acres of land at Mile Square Regional Park on a bike! Wheel Fun Rentals offers unique products, such as the popular "Surrey Cycles" and "Deuce Coupe" as well as regular cruisers and kids bikes that you can rent and cycle on the parks’ bike paths. There are two bike rental locations within the park. The north location (closest to Edinger Ave) is open year round, while the south park location (closest to Warner Ave) is open seasonally Feb. - Oct.  For hours of operation and pricing, please visit the websites below or call 805-650-7770.
  • Boat Rental: NEW - Swan Boat rentals! Rental fee is per-person and is $11 an hour for adults and $6 an hour for kids 17yrs and younger. You can find the swan boats at the North lake. For more information and hours of operation please visit www.wheelfunrentals.com/edinger or call 805-650-7770
  • Camping - Youth Groups: Mile Square Regional Park now has a One-Night Stay Overnight Camping Facility available to reserve for organized Youth Groups. Camp Sycamore is designed as a "First Camping Experience" for children between the ages of 6 yrs. old to 12 yrs. old only. The camp has 24 hr. restroom facilities, a picnic shelter with tables, barbeques, sinks and a camp fire ring. There is an area for tent set-up and a security fence surrounds the entire camp. For reservation information please call the park office, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at 714-973-6600. There is a small reservation fee payable at the park office, and a permit may be required. Reservations must be made at the park office.

  • Fishing: A fishing license is required for persons 16 years and older. All State Fish & Game Department Rules and Regulations apply at this facility.
  • Fitness/Par Course
  • Nature Area with 15 acres, open daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nature Area is subject to closure for weather, maintenance or special events.
