Join us at the Caspers Wilderness Park Nature Center to view the total lunar eclipse!

A total lunar eclipse happens when the Earth passes directly between the sun and moon, completely blocking the face of the moon. The result is a spectacular red colored moon.

Bring lawn chairs, blankets and anything else you might need to enjoy the show. Wearing layers is recommended.

Knowledgeable volunteers will be on-site with telescopes available for viewing the eclipse.

Space is limited and advance registration is required. Learn more and register here

Parking will be available in the San Juan Meadow group area and guests will need to walk up the hill to the viewing area at the Nature Center. ADA parking will be available.

The program is free and parking is $3 per vehicle.

Rain or significant cloud cover will cancel the program.
