Reservations and Annual Pass FAQs

How can I check to see when my pass expires?

After you log in, go to “Your Account,” at the top of the page

Go to purchases and follow the drop down menus to “Passes”

Once you click on passes it will take you to the “Passes” page where you will be able to see pass type, expiration, and status. If you have more than one person on your account select them from the drop down menu to see their associated passes. 

How do I log in to make a reservation or purchase/renew an annual pass?

Returning customers/ current pass holders:

  • Enter email and password
  • Forgot password? Click on "Recover Your Password," and a new password will be emailed to you.

To Log into the system:

Enter your email and password

If a temporary password if will say password has expired and will ask you to set a password of your choosing.

Once this step is complete click on the Annual Pass tab at the top of the page

If you are renewing a pass please follow the links to the pass renewal page located under the buy or renew annual passes

You will be taken to a page that says passes and should list the pass/ passes that you have on your account

Click renew next to the pass you would like to renew

Review your shopping cart

Proceed to check out

If this is a renewal, you will continue to use the same card. If your card is damaged or you need a replacement please notify OC Parks at (866) OCPARKS.

 New customers/ new pass purchase:

  • Create a new account and save your login information for future transactions. (email and password)
    • Once this step is complete click on the Annual Pass tab at the top of the page
    • You will see your name in a drop down menu above the annual pass types
    • Click on the pass you would like to purchase and add to cart
    • Review your cart
    • Proceed to check out

New purchases will be sent in the mail and you should receive your pass within 7-10 days.

During this time you will not have a temporary pass to access the parks. You will have to pay for day use parking, and no refunds will be issued.

How long is the annual parking pass valid?
Annual parking passes are valid for one year from date of purchase. There is an area on the card where you can write the purchase date as a reminder to renew before the same day next year.
The system says I have an account, but I cannot log in or remember my password.
This issue is most commonly caused by not having an email attached to your account. In order to log into your account and make purchases and reservations online, we will need to attach your email, which acts as your log in.  Call us at (866) OCPARKS Monday- Friday 8am-5pm, and someone will be happy to attach your email to your account.  You can also reach us at OCParks@OCParks.com at any time.  Please include in the email the issue you are having, and the last 7 digits on the back of your annual parking pass.  We will return your email within 2 days, Monday thru Friday.
What am I able to reserve?
Individual campsites at Caspers Wilderness and O'Neill Regional Parks and shelters and group areas at most County Regional Parks.
Where can I purchase an OC Parks Annual Parking Pass?

We have multiple park locations where you can purchase or renew an Annual Pass. Annual Park Passes are not available at OC Parks Headquarters/ Irvine Ranch Historic Park at this time.

We do recommend calling the park ahead of time to ensure the office is open and to verify the hours.

Also available this year is purchasing an Annual Pass online.

Note when purchasing a new annual parking pass online, your pass will be mailed to you within 7-10 days. During this time you will have to pay for day use parking, and no refunds will be issued.

Will I be getting a new card for my annual parking pass?
Current pass holders will continue to use their current card. That card will be renewed and will be vaild for one year from date of purchase or renewal.

New pass purchases will be mailed to you within 7-10 days.
Can I make a reservation in person?
Yes. You can come to the office of the park with the area you would like to reserve and make your reservation during regular office hours. Reservations may also be made online

  • Note: Reservations for an area to be used within 48 hours must be made in person.
  • How far in advance can I make a reservation?
    Reservations can be made 12 months in advance, with the booking window opening on the first of each month.
    What are the fees?
    Individual campsites are $20 per night day per site for up to eight people and one vehicle, and $15 per night per site for seniors 60 plus or disabled individuals. Extra vehicles are $5 per night.

    Fees for shelters and group areas are based on the capacity of the area; they range from $100 to $500.
    What if I need to cancel or change my reservation?
    Whether you made your reservation on-line or at a park office, you can only cancel or change it through the park office; you cannot do so on-line.

    If you paid with a credit or debit card, you will receive a refund back to your card. If you paid with a check or cash, you will receive a refund by check.
    Are there any cancellation penalties for reservations?

  • Reservations for individual campsites cancelled up to 2 p.m. on the arrival date of the reservation are eligible for full refunds. Reservations cancelled after 2 p.m. on the arrival date of the reservation are subject to the loss of one night's fee.

  • Reservations for shelters or group areas cancelled seven days or more prior to the date of the reservation are eligible for full refunds less a $25 cancellation fee. Reservations cancelled less than seven days prior to the date of the reservation are subject to loss of the entire fee.
