OC Parks and the County of Orange Board of Supervisors established the Ranger Reserve program on May 5, 1987. Today the Ranger Reserve program has grown immensely.
The Ranger Reserves provide support for the park operations staff during holidays, weekends, events, public programs and facilitate the development and leading of new programs.
OC Park's Ranger Reserve Program is the only reserve program of its kind in Southern California.
Currently OC Parks is accepting applications for our next training class starting in April 2015. Applications are due by March 31, 2015 at 5 p.m. Once your application is received, you will be notified by mail with the date and time of the Orientation and Interview.
If you are interested in becoming a Ranger Reserve or would like more information, please contact the Ranger Reserve Coordinator.
