Special Events Permits

Important Notice: Permit applications MUST be received 30 days prior to your event date for processing.
If you are contracting vendors on our list of vendors with verified insurance, applications MUST be received a minimum of 14 days prior to event date.

* If you have submitted a permit application and have not been contacted by OC Parks Permits within one week after submission, please follow up with an email to permits@ocparks.com.

Special events such as a birthday party, wedding, reunion or company picnic with contracted vendors, please download the Permit Application for Special Events or Group Gatherings.

  If you are hiring a vendor from this list, you are still required to purchase a permit.

Large Events

Large Events such as a 5k walk, festival, fundraising using a County park, please submit a letter with the requested information on the large event requirements form.

Trail Events

If you are interested in holding a large event, such as a 5k walk or ride using a County regional trail or bikeway, please start by submitting the event request form to review your request.

All events must comply with County Insurance Requirements.

Payments accepted are Visa, MasterCard or Discover, checks payable to the County of Orange, and cash in exact change only.
