Ariaz, Bale and DuVall recently worked to learn a new records management system and entering hundreds of backlogged citations. All of this was done on top of their normally large workloads.
Director’s Awards for Customer Service were presented to: Customer Relations Manager Marie Moreno and to Park Ranger II Maureen Beckman and Senior Park Ranger Jim Simkins, both of Santiago Oaks Regional Park.
Moreno was recognized for her dedication to ensuring that all members of the public have an enjoyable experience at the parks. Specifically, Moreno helped turn a mother and child’s negative experience into a positive, which resulted to the mother offering her volunteer services for OC Parks.
