Encroachment Permit Projects
Applications for Encroachment Permit for construction within County of Orange right-of-way will require the Permittee to submit a NPDES verification form.
If the overall project is equal to, or greater than one acre of Disturbed Soil Area (DSA), which requires coverage under the General Permit for Storm Water Discharges Associated with Construction Activities, the Permittee will be required to submit a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) to County Property Permits (CPP).
The SWPPP will be routed to OC Construction for review. Acceptance is granted when the plan addresses all requirements of the General Permit for Storm Water Discharges Associated with Construction Activities (Construction General Permit, 2009-0009-DWQ), Section A: Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan.
