California Young Reader

California children nominate and vote for the winners of the California Young Reader Medal.

Coretta Scott King Award  

Honors African American authors and illustrators of books for children and young adults.

Schneider Family Book Award

Honors an author or illustrator for a book that embodies an artistic expression of the disability experience.

Sibert Informational Book Medal

Honors the authors and illustrators of the most distinguished informational book.

Wilder Award

Honors an author or illustrator whose books, published in the United States have made a substantial and lasting contribution to literature for children.
