Birding Walk OC Parks - Thomas F. Riley Wilderness Park
Riley Wilderness Park
Join Naturalist Mike Clayton on a bird walk at Riley Wilderness Park. All levels of birders are welcome. As a wildlife sanctuary, Thomas F. Riley Wilderness Park is home to an abundant number of native species of birds and mammals. Trails meander through old groves of Western Sycamores and Coast Live Oaks. The park has many acres of rolling hills with grasslands and Coastal Sage Scrub habitats. Come prepared for a morning of exploring this delightful park and its abundant bird life. Wear shoes with good traction, hat and sunscreen. Bringing binoculars would also be helpful.
