To celebrate Valentine's Day, the OC Zoo will give couples (or pairs) two-for-one admission all day! The two of you can enjoy a day at the zoo to visit and learn more about the zoo’s animal couples at keeper talks scheduled throughout the day.

  • Regular entry fee: $2; two-for-one for this promotion.
  • Parking: $3 weekdays, $5 weekends.

A Morning Stroll to Barbara's Lake
OC Parks - Laguna Coast Wilderness Park

Enjoy the outdoors and learn about diverse plant life on this leisurely paced, level, 2-mile hike with Laguna Canyon Foundation volunteer naturalists. For ages 8 and up.

  • Little Sycamore Canyon Staging Area/Nix Nature Center (west side of Laguna Canyon Rd/SR-133, approximately 3.5 miles south of I-5/405).
  • Donation: $2/person

OC Parks - Upper Newport Bay Nature Preserve
 Location: Upper Newport Bay Nature Preserve

Visit with Preserve staff for story-telling fun! After a story, learn more about the natural history of the Bay through crafts, hands-on activities and nature walks. Come prepared for an exciting outdoor experience!

  • Cost: $5 per student
