The event will present historic highlights and demonstrations by special guests and Park Rangers in the newly restored Soda Fountain Pavilion located in Group 2 of the park.

September 12, 2014  High Temperatures and Wildfire Smoke Pose Potential Health RiskHigher than normal temperatures are expected throughout the weekend in many inland Orange County cities, increasing the risk of heat related illnesses. In addition, smoke from the wildland brush fire burning in Silverado Canyon may pose a health danger to some Orange County residents, especially those in certain high-risk groups. The South Coast Air Quality Management District has issued a Smoke Advisory for portions of Orange County, including the Saddleback Valley and Capistrano Valley areas.

All Day Event5th Annual AlertOC Regional TestOn September 23rd, over two million Orange County residents will receive a call to test AlertOC mass notification system. This is the fifth annual regional test of the system and will include 25 participating cities and the County's unincorporated areas.
