January 26, 2015  Clerk-Recorder Offers Special Valentine's Day HoursThe Clerk-Recorder is making it easier for couples to get married this Valentine's Day. The Old County Courthouse in Santa Ana and the department's branch offices in Fullerton and Laguna Hills will be open to the public from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 14.
January 22, 2015  New Renewable Energy Plant at County LandfillBoard Chairman and Orange County 3rd District Supervisor Todd Spitzer joined today with area government and business officials to present details on the environmental and economic benefits to be gained from a renewable "green" energy plant at the Frank R. Bowerman landfill northeast of Irvine.
January 20, 2015  Measles Continues to Spread in Orange CountyOrange County now has sixteen confirmed cases of measles. Ten of the reported measles cases in Orange County, along with others throughout California and in other states, are connected to visiting Disneyland or Disneyland California Adventure Park in December. The source of the infection for the four most recent cases is not known; they were not exposed at Disneyland and had no known contact to any of the confirmed Disney-associated cases.
