Thank you for making the decision to volunteer with the Adopt-A-Park Program, but how do you go about it?
Pick a Volunteer Event: We invite you to view our volunteer opportunities at http://www.volunteermatch.org/results/org_detail.jsp?orgid=55145 . In the title of each volunteer event, it will state if it is a One Time or General Volunteer opportunity. ***Please scroll down to download the 2010 Adopt-A-Park Volunteer Opportunities Calendar.
Pick a volunteer category:
One Time Volunteer: serve on a one time or short term basis.
General Volunteer: serve on an on going basis, 3-5 hours per month.
Register as a One Time of General Volunteer
It's easy! You can complete the on line volunteer application at http://occrweb.occr.ocgov.com/ocparkforms/ . At the end of the on line registration you will be prompted to download and print out the Guidelines and Provisions. Please print out, complete and send in the Guidelines and Provisions.

If you are 18 and over and interested in being a General (Long Term) Volunteer, attending a Program Orientation Meeting and LiveScan fingerprinting is required as well. Please contact the Adopt-A-Park Volunteer Services Coordinator to RSVP for an Orientation and receive a LiveScan Fingerprinting Packet.
