California Coastal Clean Up Day gives all Californians the opportunity to learn about coastal resources and help preserve them. Volunteers will clean up trash, separate it for recycling and keep track of what they find--all while taking care of the marine environment. Most importantly, volunteers will walk away better understanding the amount of marine debris that litters our environment, what its impacts are, where it comes from, and how they can help combat it.
